The Alarm Information Server (AIS)

is the center of the system, it handles all real time data which flows from the Alarm Zone Controller (AZC), it also outputs the alarm information to third party products.  It connects the Alarm Zone Controller via the RS232 serial port and DB25 port. RS232 is the communication port between the AIS and AZC, the DB25 port is the information processing port between the AIS and AZC.  Each Alarm Information Server supports up to three Alarm Zone Controllers (24 zone max setup).
